About Me

I have always had a love affair with paper, drawing and particularly, colouring things in.  I studied Art and technical drawing in college and then spent the next 25 years of my working career in customer service - go figure.

It was quite by accident that Stampin' Up! found me.  Actually, it was my upline, Jacque Williams, who found me and offered the opportunity to become a demonstrator.  I was fairly new to the art of card making and a bit hesitant to accept.  In the end, I figured I had absolutely nothing to lose.  And I was right.  That was back in 2009 and I haven't looked back.

I started this journey for myself and rediscovered my first love - art.  It's just in a slightly different form.  I started my blog, told friends about my new love of stamping.  Before I knew it, I was inspiring others in creativity and building a fabulous team to take this journey with me.  I teach regular classes and some of my students have been with me from that very first year.  They aren't just students any longer either, but life long friends.

I absolutely love what I do!  I would love to share it with you too!  Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  It means a lot to me.

  1. Dear Paula,
I found your blog via a pinterest post of a lovely Christmas Card. I am a new SU! demo and, like you, have a background in art. I worked for 25 years in the computer industry, finally coming back around to my art as a faux finisher and muralist. Funny how similar our backgrounds are! I began card making almost 20 years ago, but found Stampin' Up! in 2008. They finally convinced me to join and now I'm hosting my first CLUB! I so appreciate your creative tutorials. Thank you for sharing the techniques for free. I'd love to know how you did the card I saw - and will gladly pay for instruction. It's green and has pine cones and pine straw with snow. I hope to one day meet you at a convention. If you're interested in seeing my art, look at my old website: www.welldesignedart.com I now have a stampin website at welldesignedart.stampinup.net. Thanks again for your lovely work! Linda
